ZWO ASI 178MM CCD Camera
The ASI 178 is advertised as a planetary camera, and for microscopy, but I'll be using it mainly as a guide camera. This is the uncooled version of the camera.
I do have a microscope with a camera port, so I'll be trying my hand at microscopy, too.

The 178MM is monochrome and equipped with a Sony CCD, USB 3.0 interface and an ST4 guider port. It has a 14-bit ADC and a low read noise of 2.2e.

The sensor is a Sony IMX178, which is a 1-1/8th inch back-illuminated CCD with 6.4 megapixels in a 3096x2080 array of 2.4μm pixels.

The camera has a USB 3.0 port allowing it to run at 30fps in 14-bit normal mode, or at 60fps in 10-bit high speed mode.
